The upper front bedroom features a hospital style bed from Invacare. It has adjustable knee, head and full bed raise for comfort and for easier transfers to and from bed for wheelchair users. The bedside cabinet is also from Invacare.

The room includes a fire alarm unit that makes a very loud sound and flashes room lights, a unit that flashes lights when someone knocks on the door, and similar telephone technology for people with hearing and sight impairment.

On the bed you see a standard guardrail and an Assista-Rail by HealthCraft. A cooling vest is laying on top of the bed along with a sliding board for wheelchair transfers and a talking blood pressure cuff.
