One of the major features in the kitchen is our height adjustable sink. Users can raise and lower the height of the sink from 28 inches to 36 inches at the touch of a button. At its lower positions, the height is ideal for seated use or wheelchair heights. Raised to 36 inches, it matches the counter height of standard base cabinets. The sink includes a cut-off switch underneath that stops the sink from lowering if it encounters an obstacle.

There are instructions for a wood cabinet skirt to cover the area under the sink. It will allow the sink to raise and lower. However, we left the area under the sink open so visitors can get an unobstructed view of how the mechanical, plumbing and electrical connections are set up.

The shallow basin sink and the faucet fixture are from Ferguson Enterprises. The Delta Pilar brand pull-down faucet has a touch activated on/off feature. Thus, it can be turned on and off manually or by touch anywhere on the faucet or handle.
